As an actor, when stepping into a new role we often ask “What’s My Motivation?” as a way to discover what’s truly at the heart of why a character does what it does. Recent world events have caused me to ask that question of myself, and I came to the conclusion that I’m mainly motivated by the thought of seeing other people prosper. It was the thought of bringing joy to other people that made me become an actor, and now I even create jewelry to see other people shine. I really LOVE the thought of you being happy, having your dreams come true, having wealth and success, and experiencing all the joy and elation that comes with living a wonderful life.
When it comes to seeking balance in one’s life, or seeking to create a sense of balance, I often think of my relationship with God and all the joyful feelings that produces for me. Those joyful feelings keep me “centered” so that I’m always recalibrating my thoughts and actions to a place of focusing on God first. No matter what comes up in life, when it comes to my dealings with others, I just relax and count on God to bring the best out of the situation for everyone. I give thanks that God is bringing the best TO us and THROUGH us. This gives me peace that brings clarity. A peace that is easy to share.
What’s the motivation? To serve God through helping others prosper, and to always be seeking God’s best. To open up to receiving new miracles, and to allow God to increase joy in our lives as we wish joy for everyone else. That is the definition of balance to me. The true essence of the Win-Win.
